About our Local Offer logo
Our Vision: One borough, One community. No one left behind.
The Jigsaw puzzle is to show that although children and young people with SEND have connected journeys, each person’s journey is unique and celebrated.
The local offer section of the logo is an array of colours to show the equality and diversity of children and young people with SEND.
The Barking and Dagenham section of the logo is to give confidence and reassurance to users that this new website is connected to the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
The logo was designed in co-production with the Speak up Young People Forum.
Their ideas included:
- Vibrant Contrasting colours.
- Youthful icons.
- Appropriate typography / bold font.
- Inclusive imagery.
