  • All of our hubs are welcoming, safe spaces which provide information, advice, guidance, support, events and activities. 
  • Community Navigators give you time to focus on what matters to you by taking a holistic approach to your health and wellbeing. They connect you to community groups and statutory services for practical and emotional support

Warm Spaces 2025-2026 and Cost of Living Support

Warm Spaces are relaxed places where anyone is welcome, they are inclusive and accessible for anyone and provide a local neighbourhood space to spend the day.

Times are tough, so the Council and community partners are working together to support you during this cost of living.

Community Food Clubs and Foodbanks

Community Food Club Membership is available for one person per household, to visit once a week and is valid for three months.

Ripple Road

Drop in for family who are in temporary accommodation.

For: Families with children 0-19 who are in temporary accommodation. A free drop-in for families to access play spaces for children, washing machines and simple cooking facilities.

Every Saturday starting 1 August 2025 10-2pm

Next Steps

  • Focussed promotion to families in hotels and raise awareness for hotel managers of the provision
  • Link up with LBBD Cooking clubs funded through Household Support Fund (HSF)
  • Review provision with families to identify any changes needed
  • Plan for winter when outside space may be less accessible
