CHATA is an ongoing government funded project (funded by National Institute for Health and Care Research NIHR and University of Cambridge) aiming to support autism diagnosis by observing children in their home.
CHATA Padlet is a resource hub for social and communication differences in children age 6 and under, created by NELFT Barking & Dagenham Children’s and Young People’s Neurodevelopmental Service for anyone supporting a child at home, in education, or through specialist services:
- A friendly welcoming video tour of the Neurodevelopmental Service in Axe Street, Barking
- Support Sites and lines e.g. Sycamore Trust Helpline, Autism Central
- Information and resources about Tooth Care, Eating and Feeding, Sleep, Toileting and Constipation, Speech and Language, Sensory Differences, Emotions, Communication and Behaviour
- Information on clubs, gathering, events and spaces for parents and children in the local community
